“Whoever welcomes you welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me… and whoever gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones in the name of a disciple—truly I tell you, none of these will lose their reward.”
During this time of COVID-19 pandemic, we are doing our best to protect, and to extend welcome and hospitality to the least of these and the most vulnerable among us. We will continue to do everything we can, in accordance with CDC guidelines and best practices recommendations from the ELCA and our Synod. Because of decreased cases in our area, and the increasing numbers of vaccinated persons, we will be slowly returning to in-person in-building worship starting on Sunday April 11th for the 10:30am Sunday Morning service only. The service will continue to be available over Zoom for those who still feel uncomfortable attending in person or prefer Zoom for any other reason. No one is required to attend in person. Worship attendants cannot exceed 35 persons. If we should exceed this number, we invite you to join us over Zoom. Please familiarize yourself with all the guidelines in our buidling reopening plan. Those attending must wear masks and follow social distancing and contact tracing guidelines. We are not able to have singing in worship at this time. Saturday worship will continue to be held in the parking lot until such time as all restrictions can be lifted.
Due to current restrictions, and out of concern for the safety of our staff, we have reduced our office hours. The office will be open Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00am to 12:00pm, and Pastor will hold office hours Wednesdays and Thursdays 9am to 12pm. All other days, if you have questions, concerns, or are in need of pastoral care please fill out a connection card on our Contact Page and we will get back to you ASAP.
Worship is now a hybrid service. You can join us in person or over Zoom. Masks and social distancing are still required for in-person indoor worship. Thank you for observing the mask and distance requirements, as it allows us to incorporate some singing into the service. Holy Communion is served for those joining us in person.
The Zoom meeting will start at 10am for fellowship and connectivity, and Sunday morning worship will start at our standard time at 10:30am. Our zoom meeting ID is our church phone number: 906 341 5427. You may also need the passcode which is our mailing zip code: 49854. You can join by clicking the button below.
