Bible Study

Our bible studies usually meet September through May. We have three bible studies available in the fall season.

The bimonthly class meets the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 6:30pm in the fellowship hall. We are currently working our way through the Gospel of Luke, and we will move to the book of Acts after that.

Our weekly Zoom class is a part of the Northern Great Lakes Synod’s Lifelong Faith Formation Program. So this is a great opportunity to study along with people from all over the synod! We will meet Wednesday evenings at 7pm usually for a total of ten sessions per topic. This fall we will be looking at the Apocryphal books that may not be in most people’s bibles.

We also have a bible study that meets during the Sunday School Hour at 9:30am where we take a deeper dive into the assigned lectionary texts for the week, and discuss things that might not have fit into Pastor’s sermon.

Sunday School

Sunday School classes are currently on pause. But when they do meet again, they will be at 9:30am Sunday Morning. During the school year children of all ages gather to learn and grow together in faith. Classes may include songs, interactive bible studies, and games. Students will also have opportunities for leadership in worship to share what they have learned with the larger congregation.

Library

Zion has a diverse library with over 1200 books and 200 videos/dvds thanks to the generous donations of our members.

Our library is curated by Sheila Clark. She can help you if you are looking for a specific title or if you have any questions at [email protected]

Books you check out from our library have no due date, but we do ask that you sign things out so that we can track it down if someone else wants to read it.
